ITINERARY:
Day 01: JAYAPURA – ARRIVAL
Arrival at Sentani airport of Jayapura , met by our guide then transfer to hotel, after lunch visiting the local market in Sentani to see the people selling their garden products and drive around the Sentani town, afternoon back to hotel dinner at Mickey restaurant in the town and overnight stay at hotel. Day 02: JAYAPURA – WAMENA
Depart by flight to Wamena. On arrive at Wamena airport, transfer to your hotel, then proceed to visiting Dani villages and scenery from Napua hill, drive down to the town for having lunch. After lunch drive to northern part of Baliem valley to Anemoigi village to enjoy a local performance such as mock war and traditional earth oven cooking. You can be interacted with local Dani people and learn about their way of life. Late afternoon back to your hotel for dinner and overnight stay. (B,L, D)

Day 03: WAMENA – YANIRUMA
We will fly in the early morning on a chartered Pilatus Porter airplane to the Kombai area. To get into the Korowai Batu, we will first have to start in Kombai tribe territory. Then we go through Korowai area and finally into Korowai Batu area. We will get our porters ready and then spend some time getting to know the village chief And we will overnight in a former Missionary house. (B,L, D)

Days 04, 05, 06, 07, 08, 09, 10, 11: EXPLORING KOMBAY & KOROWAY BATU
We will spend these 07 days trekking is some of the most pristine lowland rain forest in the world. Along the way we will try and stay with the various tribes those inhabit the region. The Korowai are more territorial than the neighboring Kombai. And the Korowai Batu is even more so. These tribes still practice cannibalism, and they can be aggressive. Don't worry they won't eat us. It is ritual cannibalism among the tribe, sometimes walk over the log or fallen tree and crossing the river with or without bridge. This is the tropical rain forest in the vast-green lowland of South Irian Jaya or Papua, there are many exotic things to be discovered and experienced but with a great deal with mosquito, swamp, heat and high humidity (85 - 100%). Our trek in the forest will support by our local porter who carry our bags or gears and will love to help you to do some difficult section of the trip when you need. We arrive in Dambol in the noon, and will meet the first Korowai family on their tree house. Korowai is a nomad people who always move from one place to another at least once every 3 years. They were not live in large group, that at every location of the tree house we only see 2-4 tree house built side by side. The Korowai also a great hunter who hunted pigs, Cus-Cus, birds most of their time in life. After we met the Korowai and family on their tree house, we may interact with them help by our guide and experience their life. Overnight at our tent or at shelter we build near the tree house soon after we arrive. During the time with Koroway we can follow their daily activities: hunting, setting trap of wild pigs, gathering Sago flour, fishing in traditional way. (B, L, D)

Day 12: HAMLET – YANIRUMA
We will trek back to Yaniruma where the plane dropped us off. Before we arrive in Yaniruma we will stop at Dairam Kabur river for fresh swim and clean up our dirty bodies from the mud. Afternoon arrive in Yaniruma, dinner and overnight missionary house. (B, L, D)

Day 13: YANIRUMA – WAMENA
By charter flight return to the civilization in Wamena. Arrive in Wamena check in to the hotel and then drive to Kurima to do small trekking, lunch will be served en-route, late afternoon back to hotel for dinner and overnight. (B, L, D)

Day 14: WAMENA – JAYAPURA
Early morning fly back to Jayapura by Trigana flight. Arrive in Jayapura check in to the hotel and then touring Jayapura city to see some interesting places, lunch will be served at a restaurant near Sentani lake, late afternoon drive back to hotel for dinner and overnight. (B, L, D)

Day 15: JAYAPURA – DEPARTURE
After breakfast at hotel, then transfer in time to Sentani airport for your flight departure to the next destination. End of service. (B)
