KAHUNG VALLEY TREKKING and FOREST

ITINERARY
DAY 01 : BANJARMASIN – ARANIO – BELANGIAN VILLAGE
Upon arrival in Bajarmasin airport directly transfer to Aranio village(riam
Kanan) about 1,5 hour drive.
Then by klotok (traditional motorized boat) to Belangian village about 3 hours
while enjoying
beautiful scenery of mountinous scape, kinds of bird, villagers fishing ponds,
boat making, etc. Spend the
night at local house, or in the riverside. Meals provided and accommodation at
local house. (L, D)
DAY 02 : BELANGIAN – SIMPANG TIGA – KAHUNG VALLEY TREKKING
After breakfast, Proceed for two hours Trekking to Simpang Tiga crossing
gigantic trees and romantic
stream while some primate and birds are showing up occasionally. Next, another
2,5 hours trekking to
reach Kahung valley waterfall. here you can enjoy and the beauty of surrounding
panorama . Overnight at
bivouac/tent. (B, L, D)
DAY 03 : SIMPANG TIGA – BELANGIAN – ARANIO – BANJARMASIN
After Breakfast, We trek back to Belangian village then proceed 3 hours to
Aranio village by motorized
boat ( Klotok). Arrived in Aranio village, drive back to the capital of South
Kalimantan (Borneo),
Banjarmasin. Arrived Hotel, Check-in and Rest. (B, L)
DAY 04 : BANJARMASIN – AIRPORT
in the morning we can visit floating market to explore people trade from boat to
boat, then return to hotel
for breakfast and free at your own leisure till the proper time for transferring
to Airport for onward
flight. (B)
