ITINERARY
Day 01: Medan Airport - Hotel
Upon arrival in Medan, meet our guide, then transfer to Tiara hotel or Best Western located in the centre of Medan city. Free time at your own leisure - Free program. (D)

Day 02: Medan - City tour - Bohorok/Bukit Lawang.
In the morning you can do city tour in Medan.You can visit the beautiful mix architectures of Maimoon palace built in 1888 by the Sultan of Deli (former name of Medan) Sultan Mahmood Al Rashid. Then a visit to Grand Mosque "Mesjid Raya" built in 1906 where you can see its interesting ornaments, to Chinese and Hindu temples. As one of the most important cities during Dutch colonial time, you can see also colonial architectural touch in building likes: the Post office, the old City Hall, Central bank, etc. Before we depart to Bohorok we will make a short visit to Asam Kumbang crocodile farm. Here you can see crocodiles from different sizes and ages.In the afternoon we proceed to Bohorok/Bukit Lawang, the orangutans rehabilitation centre. The journey leads you past the scenic rubber and palm oil plantations. Overnight stay in Eco Lodge Bukit Lawang Cottages, located directly on the bank of Bohorok river. (B, L, D)

Day 03: Bohorok - see the Sumatran orangutans at the feeding area.
After breakfast, we will walk for around 45 minutes at the side of Bohorok river to the orangutans feeding area. Prior to arrival at rehabilitation centre you have to cross the river by small wooden canoe. Then do a short climbing through the tropical rainforest at the slope of Mt.Leuser. Watching the part ranger feeds the orangutans. It is suggested to have comfortable sportive shoes. On your way back to hotel, enjoy picnic lunch with jungle bath (optional) at Elephant stone. The rest of the day free at your own program. Overnight stay in Eco Lodge Bukit Lawang Cottages. (B, L, D)

Day 04: Rainforest trekking with forest camp at Jamur Batu.
After breakfast, you will leave Bohorok to start jungle trekking with your experienced local guide and porter to the primary rain forest of Sumatra. In Gunung Leuser Nature reservation you will be able to see the orangutans in their nature environment, varieties of birds, reptiles, amphibians and mammals. In the afternoon we will camp in Jamur Batu. The camp built right at the bank of a river. Overnight stay in a simple tent in the jungle. Lunch and dinner will be served by your local guide and porter. (B, L, D)

Day 05: Rainforest trekking from Jamur Batu to Rantau Panjang.
Wake up early in the morning for a quick wash and get ready for breakfast. The second day of trekking. The trail can be slippery, you have to climb or hang on at the big trees. After lunch at a small river, we continue jungle trekking until we reach Rantau Panjang. �We will camp here. Overnight stay in a simple tent in the jungle. Lunch and dinner will be served by your local guide and porter. (B, L, D)

Day 06: Rantau Panjang - Bohorok/Bukit Lawang.
In the morning we clear up the camp and ready to walk again to Panorama and Cubing, passing hill views. In the afternoon we return to Bohorok/Bukit Lawang Cottages. At last we arrive in Eco Lodge Bukit Lawang Cottages for overnight stay. (B, L, D)

Day 07: Bohorok - airport of Medan.
Today we will transfer your back to Medan. Upon arrival we proceed to the airport for your flight to next destination. End of your tour with us. (B)
