INTRODUCTION
INDONESIA-EXPEDITION.COM is under flag of licensed Tours and Travel, PT. Korindo
Network Lintas Raya, T&T. We operated our all tour programs from our home based
office on the Island of Lombok - Indonesia. Lombok is located just next Bali 25
minutes by plane and 5 hours by ferry slow boat.
BOOKING INFORMATION AND CONDITIONS
If you would like to book a place on INDONESIA-EXPEDITION.COM Trip program,
please e-mail us to request a details trip itinerary that we will send by pdf
file (including pictures on it). Space is limited on each trip and many
adventure trips sell out early. We recommend you to reserve a place as soon as
you know when you want to travel. We will still accept your booking 2 days prior
departure subject to space availability.
ACCOMMODATIONS
All participants on INDONESIA-EXPEDITION.COM trip most stay in small hotels,
guesthouses, inns and in some cases beach bungalows except major big
city/island, you have an options to stay variety of finest hotel or bungalow.
These will vary from island to island but in all cases the accommodation will
usually be owned and operated by local people. This way, your money will be
supporting the local people of the island you are visiting and not large
corporations.
FOOD
On INDONESIA-EXPEDITION.COM trips, you will receive daily breakfast and
refreshments en route. For lunches and dinners, you will be advised by our tour
guides of recommended restaurants owned and operated by locals. In many cases,
water will be provided for free, however, in some areas drinking it wouldn’t be
a good idea. Our guides will always be on hand to tell you when and where water
is safe to drink. We highly recommend bringing a water bottle with an in-line
filter system Although you will have the opportunity to order food which is like
that you normally eat at home, we recommend trying all the local specialties.
After all, food is a major part of any vacation or trip, as well as a major part
of any country’s culture and you just may discover a few new favorites.
TOUR GUIDES
Our guides know all the ins and outs of the destination in question. They are
also knowledgeable about spots not on the map or sites well off the beaten
tourist trail. Our guides are savvy people with their own particular specialties
that vary from guide to guide and island to island. And also our guide team are
a local people as our main goals to helping in contribution of their income.
TRANSFORMATION
Due to the lack of public transportation access to tourist attractions in komodo
island and Pangkalan Bun-Centre of Borneo, we have included private
transportation. The size of transportation will depend on the number of
participants in a trip. All participants will be transported in a non
air-conditioned coach for group and air-conditioned mini van for individual. For
some trips we will use public ferry to transport the group and coach to the
other islands. For trips to Komodo, Rinca, Alor, Lembata islands and orangutan
trip, we will use a motorized wooden boat that has been designed to carry
tourists around this area.
FLIGHT and AIRLINES TICKETS
To block your confirm flight from Major Big Provinces, where they provides
online system booking reservation such as Mataram, Bali, Jakarta, Medan,
Palembang, Padang, Surabaya, Semarang, Yogyakarta, Banjar Masin, Samarinda,
Palangka Raya, Pontianak, Ujung Pandang, Manado, Kendari, Palu and Irian jaya to
your destination during traveling in Indonesia, please advise us of the names of
each client at least two months before arrival date ( this is very important )We
recommend you to purchase domestic airline tickets locally in remote destination
in Indonesia. INDONESIA-EXPEDITION.COM can assist in reserving and securing a
seat for you (we are not able to responsibility for flight cancellation and
delay but we will assist you to find the solution regarding your flight
matters). This recommendation is made due to the fact that the airline offices
in small towns - remote places and surrounding prefer the passenger to pay them
directly. This allows them to give priority to our seat reservations. It is just
matters of The system is NOT online yet.
PAYMENT
To avoid hassle prior to departure from your source country, initial deposit 50%
or full payment transfer is required TWO MONTHS before your arrival date to our
company bank account through PayPal online secure payment (see below next left
Navigation). But full payment will be required during the meeting service with
our representative prior to joining your selected trip. As such a CASH payment
only will be accepted during the meeting service. Payment can be made in IDR,
Euro, Australian Dollar, Singapore Dollar or Yen based on the official exchange
rate at the time of transaction.
Note: Feeling Save in Mind and Souls! When you would transfer money deposit on
behalf a person, make sure you have their Tour and Travel Licensed plus
Association Indonesian Tour and Travel Agency - ASITA Member Licensed, Otherwise
It must be 100% a Personal Website, Whatever their reason is! This is just for
your secure booking via website. Licensed Tour and Travel are Registered and
Protected by Indonesian Constitution Law. We leave it to YOU.
CANCELLATION AND REFUND
No cancellation fee will be applied on land costs if the cancellation is made 24
hours prior to departure date. But 25% cancellation fee will be applied within
the 24 hours prior departure or in case of no show. No partial refunds are
possible for unused meals, hotel rooms, sightseeing, etc. If your airline
tickets were purchased through our office, you will receive whatever refund is
allowable by the airlines. In most cases are the airline ticket unrefundable.
CANCELLED TRIPS
INDONESIA-EXPEDITION.COM reserves the right to cancel any trip prior to
departure for any reason whatsoever, including insufficient participants or
logistical problems such as natural disasters or uncontrollable condition, acts
of God, war, strikes, etc. which may impede trip operations. In this case a full
refund of the land cost shall release INDONESIA-EXPEDITION.COM from any further
liability. INDONESIA-EXPEDITION.COM is not responsible for expenses incurred by
trip members in preparing for the adventure such as non-refundable air tickets,
visa costs, etc.
TRAVEL INSURANCE
Due to the fact that our packages are not covered with insurance, we suggest the
client take out their own insurance such as life personal accident, baggage's.
INDONESIA-EXPEDITION.COM highly recommends that you purchase travel insurance.
You are entirely responsible for arranging travel insurance on your own, prior
to trip departure. INDONESIA-EXPEDITION.COM accepts no liability for travelers
who do not carry traveler’s insurance.( we don't accept reasonability for these
things!!! )
MEDICAL INFORMATION
Participation in INDONESIA-EXPEDITION.COM trips require that you are in good
health. It is essential that persons with any medical problems or dietary
restrictions make them known to us well before departure. We can then consul you
on whether the adventure trip you have selected is right for you. Our tour
escort has the right to disqualify any participant at any time during the trip
if he or she feels the participant is physically incapable and/or if a
participant’s continued participation will jeopardize either the individual
involved or the group. There will be no refund give under these circumstances.
INDONESIA-EXPEDITION.COM is not a medical facility and therefore has no
expertise nor responsibility regarding what medications or inoculations you and
your private physician should decide necessary for your safe participation in
the trip. Hospital facilities for serious medical problems are unavailable in
Flores, Komodo, Rinca, Alor, Lembata, and other remote small town in Indonesia.
And evacuation will be prolonged, difficult and expensive.
INDONESIA-EXPEDITION.COM assumes no liability regarding the provision of medical
care.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
INDONESIA EXPEDITION gives notice that services provided in connection with its
itineraries, including transportation, hotel accommodation, restaurants and
other services are purchased from various independent suppliers who are not
affiliated with INDONESIA-EXPEDITION.COM in any way. Although it endeavors to
choose the best suppliers available, INDONESIA-EXPEDITION.COM has no right to
control their operations and therefore makes these travel arrangements upon the
express condition that INDONESIA-EXPEDITION.COM shall not be liable for any
delay, mishap, inconvenience, expense, irregularity, bodily injury or death to
person or damage to property occasioned through the conduct or default of any
company or individual engaged in providing these services. Each of these
passenger conveyance companies, hotels, restaurants, etc is subject to the laws
of Indonesia. INDONESIA-EXPEDITION.COM shall not be liable for:
a). expenses such as additional hotel nights and meals not specified in the trip
itineraries that may be required either en route, prior to or following a trip,
when caused by individual clients’ travel arrangements, by airline scheduling or
airline scheduling changes, canceled flights, miss flight connections or by
other factors not under INDONESIA-EXPEDITION.COM control,
b). expenses incurred in recovering luggage lost by airlines, belongings left
behind on a trip, or in shipping purchases home from abroad.
c). bodily injury or property damage for any reason, including but not limited
to acts of God, weather, quarantine, strikes, civil disturbance, theft,
detention, annoyance, changes in government regulations, or failure of
conveyance to arrive or depart as scheduled, etc , over which
INDONESIA-EXPEDITION.COM does not have control.

• Trousers and long shirt (cotton) for trekking
• Trekking shoes or other comfortable walking shoes
• Long socks plus extra
• Sandals (teva/paddling shoe)
• Small binocular for bird watching
• Pocket knife and flash light (torch)
• Mosquito and insect repellent
• Camera plus extra film and battery
• Other personal things and medicine
• For souvenir and other personal expenses, please bring Rupiah.
